Why do you market? When I ask this question, I typically get one of two answers…
- I want to get my name out there (i.e get some social media presence) or
- I really need some new patients.
These are both valid reasons to market and if you do your marketing right they will be the result but they are not the foundations of an effective marketing strategy.
Here’s why…what both of those reasons have in common is they’re about YOU and…when you make your marketing about you, you’re likely to end up looking needy, pushy or like a jerk!
