There’s been times in my life where I’ve felt like I’m in such a huge hole that all I can focus on is the next step. Looking beyond that one step would have been overwhelming.
The belief that has allowed me to take that ONE step though has been an inner confidence that regardless of how difficult things were in that moment, what was happening had meaning and ultimately I would be a better person because of it.
This wasn’t always my operating system though, I’ve worked hard on this for the past decade.
This week on the show I chat with one of my dearest friends Alex Willis about what it takes to thrive in face of difficult circumstances.
Alex is a leadership guy…and he’s damn good at.
In this episodes Alex shares what it was like to be cut from the NFL, lose 2 million dollars and to grow up in a poor and violent neighbourhood.
We chatted about why Alex wants to build a billion dollar company, where his creativity comes from how he uses “ear hussle” to come up with new ideas.
